Who we are

Hope Christian Academy (HCA) is a nonprofit private elementary school opening in Quitman, AR, in the fall of 2026. The school will offer a Conservative Christian curriculum for grades K–3, designed to foster independent learning, creativity, and individuality.

HCA’s purpose is to provide the community with an alternative to traditional public education—one that keeps God’s vision and the family at the center. Rooted in Biblical principles and values, the academy will support children academically, spiritually, ethically, and physically, equipping them with the essential lessons needed to pursue their God-given purpose.

By instilling confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of identity, Hope Christian Academy aims to raise a generation of young adults who are driven, kind, determined, educated, and gracious—helping to heal and strengthen both families and society.

What sets HCA apart?

67% of Christian school graduates maintain their faith into adulthood, contrasting sharply with the trend of many public school students leaving their childhood religion.

The benefits of Christian values in education extend far beyond the school years. Students from Christian schools often report:

  • Stronger moral compass for navigating life's challenges

  • Deeper sense of purpose in their career and personal choices

  • Better preparation for both academic and social aspects of college

  • Lasting relationships built on shared values

  • Leadership skills developed through service opportunities

Tuition and Funding

Hope Christian Academy strives to keep costs manageable so families can pursue quality education without financial strain.Thankfully, Arkansas offers a program that provides families with the funding needed for school choice.

Arkansas's Education Freedom Account (EFA) is a state-funded program created by the LEARNS Act, providing families with public education funds (around 90% of per-student funding, roughly $6,800-$7,600) for approved expenses like private school tuition, curriculum, tutoring, technology, uniforms, and homeschooling, aiming to give parents choices beyond traditional public schools, with eligibility expanding to all K-12 students. Funds are managed in an online account (like ClassWallet) for quarterly payments to approved vendors.
